2008 The Grand Poker Tournament at Golden Nuggett

I know it doesn't seem like very much, but CardPlayer.com Finally posted the results of the Grand Poker tournament from back in June.
You can see that I tied for 3rd place. Like I said not all that big a deal, but its the first time I have been mentioned in Card Player, but not the last time, hopefully :)

2007 World Poker Challege (WPT event in Reno)

Most of these pictures are really terrible because they were taken with my cell phone camera and it took really terrible pictures. If you saw this episode of World Poker Tour there are several times when you can see me in the audience.

Some of these pictures were taken during the boot camp that I attended and I highly recommend if you are serious about playing poker professionally

2 million dollars in cash!

Final table winner J.C. Tran and $2 million

Mike Sexton, WPT announcer. I ended up playing at the same table with Mike and T.J Cloutier for nearly 6 hours. Unfortunately I got a little impatient with A K Unsuited and was busted by the guy to my left who had a pair of 8's.

My favourite memory from this trip was bowling with some of the greatest poker players in the world. That night Mark Seif and Mike Sexton were betting $5,000 a frame that Mark couldn't bowl and hit either one of the back two corner pins without hitting any other pin. Mark, the bowler lost $25,000 and to break even he bet Mike that he couldn't bowl a 140 in a suit and tie. Mike took the bet and sadly bowled a 139....It was very exciting.
