So the move is essenstially complete (but don't look at my office quite yet). Heather has been back visiting her family for the past four days and that gave me some time to get back to the felt.
I must admit that becuase I have not played poker in Vegas for over a year that I was a bit nervous. Not sure why, I took 3rd in my first try, 8th on my second (got unlucky when my AKs went up against a super agressive all in all the time bettor who had A3os. She spiked a 3 on the flop and I hit the rail)
I played at the newest casino in Las Vegas, The M. Nice big room, staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the game, and the players were decent as well. The M is 6 miles from out house, and the Golden Nuggett is about 17 miles from the house so while I still love the Nug, 20 less miles of driving is quite a bit, especially in Las Vegas traffic.
